About Aisling MagickArt
I began on my magickal journey many years ago, but remained very much "in the broom closet." I didn't explore much beyond conducting a few rituals or spells every so often. My interest increased as I became more interested in researching my Irish ancestors and visiting Ireland numerous times. I started conducting rituals on a regular basis in 2021. My first ritual was to celebrate Samhain, to honor my ancestors.
My first "witchy" creations were spell jars. Creating these jars grew originally from that interest in my Irish ancestry, as with that, the history of Ireland, and by extension, Irish mythology. As I learned more about the ancient celebrations tied to Wheel of the Year, I found that each had a set of elements (e.g., herbs, flowers, gemstones) and colors associated with it. Then, I discovered spell jars. Spell jars--also called intention or wish jars, or even prayer jars--are filled with herbs, flowers, gemstones, or other magickal elements (e.g., ribbons, coins, candles) intended to manifest a specific outcome or desire. The jar is then charged with intention, sealed with wax, and sometimes adorned with ribbons or charms. Sometimes I anoint them with essential oils. Jars can be carried with the owner or kept in a special place; each comes with a “recipe scroll” that explains why each ingredient is included and what it signifies.
As I continued to learn, I came up with new ideas. Why just jars representing an intention? Why not jars representing individual Sabbats and Irish Goddesses? Why not wreaths representing the Sabbats or Goddesses? I now make representations of Irish Goddesses as corn husk dolls. I'm always thinking of new ways to join my spiritual beliefs and expression with my art.
I do my best to practice my beliefs through my art. Everything you find on my site is created with care by me, with the hope that each item will find its way to someone who finds meaning and inspiration in it.

About Me
In Irish, the word “Aisling,” means dream, vision, or inspiration.

Some of the most popular jars I make represent Prosperity, Love, Happiness, Joy, Healing, Insight, Success, and Protection. I am also happy to create a one-of-a-kind jar just for you based on your own positive intention: In the past I have made "bespoke" jars to symbolize concepts meaningful to the recipient, such as "Sanctuary," and I made one jar to honor someone's beloved horse who was dying of an incurable disease. I feel deeply grateful for the opportunity to create these pieces for people.
